Very attractive ‘White Star Line’ dinner plate used as a prop in the epic Oscar-winning 1997 film Titanic. The plate, which measures 10″ in diameter, features scalloped, gilt-lined edges with ornate blue-and-gold pattern to border and the ‘White Star Line’ emblem to center. The plate is handsomely mounted and framed with an engraved plaque to an overall size of 13.5 x 16.5. Includes the original shipping box. In fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Twentieth Century Fox, marked in ink, “Dinner Plate, used in First Class Dining Room scenes,” and stating: “This certifies that this motion picture prop is one of a limited number of authentic props created for the theatrical motion picture TITANIC directed by James Cameron.”
