Collection of 133 vintage glossy photos celebrating the life of famed Italian silent film star Rudolph Valentino, each approximately 8 x 10 or 10 x 8, with 80 of the photos focusing on Valentino and his two-year marriage with Natacha Rambova, showing the pair in public, on film sets, and during leisure moments. The remaining 53 photos document the funeral of Valentino, who tragically died at the age of 31, and include images of the funeral service, the procession, his crypt at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, and the commemoration of his bronze ‘Aspiration’ monument designed by Roger Noble Burnham. In overall fine condition, with curling and the majority of photos bearing binder dings to one edge, which could either be trimmed or matted over.
