Attractive 9K gold (.375) medal presented to Apollo 15 astronaut Al Worden by the Alliance Internationale de Tourisme, 1.75″ in diameter, 54 gm, with the front showing Apollo astronauts in the lunar rover with lower text, “Commemorating the first motorists on the moon,” and the border reading: “Alliance Internationale de Tourisme”; the reverse shows the organization’s emblem above an engraving: “Presented to Major Alfred Merrill Worden Apollo 15, 31st July - 2nd August 1971.” Includes its original blue presentation case. In fine condition.
