Al Worden's personally-owned handcrafted walking stick, measuring 58″ long, with a "Pat Bockelman" maker's mark near the bottom. The handsomely hand-painted natural wooden stick features an exquisite Apollo Command Module carved into the top, with text carved below: "Endeavour CSM-112, 7.26.71-8.7.71." On either side of the rope-wrapped grip are depictions of the lunar surface—complete with carved lunar craters—with the Apollo 15 insignia and surnames of the crewman painted in red, white, and blue. Below are hand-painted renditions of NASA's 'meatball' logo, Astronaut Snoopy, an astronaut pin, Lunar Module details, and "CMP Al Worden" vertically at the bottom. In fine condition. A most unusual and unique piece of space-age folk art.
