Al Worden’s hand-painted Apollo 15 mission insignia wall display, purportedly hung in the offices of Houston’s Manned Spacecraft Center. The handsomely painted wooden display measures 17.5″ in diameter and bears two mounting holes to the upper and lower borders. Reverse bears a pair of sawtooth picture hangers. In fine condition, with scattered dings and scuffs, and wear to rim; lower left edge bears some paint chipping.
From the collection of Apollo 15 CMP Al Worden, and accompanied by a letter of provenance from his daughter Alison (Worden) Penczak.
