Handwritten letter to an unidentified gentleman, in full: "I return you many thanks for your Note, which I have this moment received. The declaration you enclose is worthy of those from whom it comes, and speaks a Language which will I trust be echoed from every part of the Country. I troubled you with a Letter which I sent yesterday evening to the Trinity House, not recollecting at that moment your engagements for today. If you can call here any time before half past twelve tomorrow I shall be much obliged to you, as I am to see Lord Hobart at one." In fine condition, with light soiling and scattered light foxing.
