Scarce high-grade complete set (55/55) of 1965 Topps Gilligan's Island cards, highlighted by three graded by PSA. Overall, the set grades at 60% NM (with a few better), 30% EX-MT, and 10% EX (mostly due to centering). Graded cards are: #1 You'll Be Safe Skipper! Only If I… (PSA EX-MT 6), #41 Why'd I Have To Be Stuck On The Same… (PSA NM 7), and #55 The Castaways (PSA NM 7).
Released after the popular sitcom's 1964 debut, this set features stills from the show with cartoonish 'quotes' overlaid. On the backs are sequential stills, so that when the set is complete and ordered sequentially it forms a flipbook with scenes entitled 'Gilligan in Action' and 'Skipper Takes a Trip.'
