Scarce medallion honoring the 50th anniversary of the Pathé film company. Bronze, 305 gm (with base), 76 mm, designed by Charles Louis Muller. The front shows founder Charles Pathé in profile with his name in raised lettering above; the reverse features a large laurel wreath with central rooster perched between the years 1897 and 1947, and lower text in French (translated): "Fifty Years Ago, Charles Pathé Founded Pathé Cinema." The medal is set on a small base. In fine condition.
