Custom-made 1:18 scale model of the Rocketdyne F-1 rocket engine as used on the Saturn V launch vehicle, measuring approximately 12″ long and 7.75″ in diameter across the bell. The model is customized with metal-plated components, red thermal shields, and white 'buttons' that protected some of the elements on the bell from being damaged during transport and assembly stages. Includes a display case with transport base and 3.25″ tall man to demonstrate scale. This is a super high-quality, meticulously detailed model of the engine that powered man's journeys to the moon.
