Uncommon model of the Grumman X-29A experimental aircraft by Precise Models, Inc., of Elyria, Ohio. The impressively designed aircraft model measures 12″ in length and 7″ in width, and can be displayed upon its black plastic base to a height of 8.5″; white text to the front of the base reads: “DARPA, USAF, NASA.” Includes the original Precise Models shipping box, as well as a custom-made glass dish made by Houze Art for the “X-29 Rollout Ceremony,” held on August 27, 1984. The dish includes its original bag, box, and certificate. In fine condition. Consignor notes that this model was purchased from a former Grumman employee.
