Wife (1876-1962) of the eccentric aristocrat Henry Cyril Paget, known as the 'Dancing Marquess' of Anglesey, remembered for his lavish lifestyle, flamboyant social life, and gender fluidity. ALS signed “Lilian Gilliat,” one page both sides, 5.5 x 7, personal letterhead, no date. Letter to Dr. Salesby, thanking him for pamphlets sent to Princess Arthur of Connaught. In part: "Princess Arthur of Connaught has asked me to write & thank you…for the pamphlets you sent her." In fine condition, with a couple of small edge chips.
