Eminent French sculptor (1834–1904) best known for designing the Statue of Liberty. Attractive 14 x 9.25 print of Bartholdi's equestrian statue of the Gaul leader Vercingetorix, signed and inscribed in ink, "A M. Vageilles, souvenir cordial de l'auteur, Bartholdi." In very good to fine condition, with a central vertical fold, light scattered creasing, and some tack holes to the borders.
