Original embroidered patch for the flight of Thaicom 8, a Thai satellite of the THAICOM series, operated by Thaicom Public Limited Company, launched by a SpaceX Falcon 9 Full Thrust rocket on May 27, 2016, from the Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. The patch measures 4.25" x 4.5" and shows the Thaicom 8 satellite and the launch of the Falcon 9, with the background featuring the flags of Thailand and the USA, and the Earth with a small four-leaf clover. The border reads: "0070, SpaceX, Thaicom-8, Falcon 9." The number on the patch ("0070") indicates the seniority of the employee to whom it was issued: the lower the number, the more senior the employee. Low numbered patches are extremely hard to find. In very fine condition. SpaceX landed the first stage of a Falcon 9 on the ASDS (autonomous spaceport drone ship) 'Of Course I Still Love You' during the Thaicom 8 mission, its third time successfully landing on a drone ship at sea.
