Queen of England (born 1665), the last British monarch in the Stuart dynasty, who reigned from 1702 until her death in 1714. Vellum manuscript DS, signed “Anne R,” one page, 14 x 9.75, March 1, 1704. Queen Anne appoints George Lison "to be Lieutenant in that company whereof Captain John Travell is Captain in the Regiment of Foot commanded by…Charles Lord Paston." Signed at the head by Queen Anne. In very good condition, with soiling, toning, staining, a missing seal, and the signature a couple of shades light.
