Description

Marvelous matte-finish 8 x 10 portrait photo of Massachusetts Senator John F. Kennedy taken after being nominated as the Democratic presidential candidate in August of 1960, signed and inscribed in the lower border in fountain pen, "For George Wagner, with best wishes—John Kennedy." In fine to very fine condition, with light silvering to the edges of the image, and slight brushing to the sentiment. Although taken in the summer of 1960 by Alfred Eisenstaedt, this was the preferred portrait JFK would sign and give out during the beginning of his administration. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from JSA.
