Collection of 30 official vintage and modern NASA photos, 8 x 10 and 10 x 8, various finishes, which relate to notable NASA events spanning from Project Mercury to Skylab. The majority of photos feature NASA caption text and/or Kodak watermarks to reverse, with 16 photos black-numbered (one color) and four color photos red-numbered, 10 of which show President John F. Kennedy during his 1962 Houston visit.
Other subjects include: Gus Grissom following his Mercury recovery; an interior cut-section of the Gemini spacecraft, with uncommon stapled print caption card; Robert H. Goddard; Ham the chimpanzee; the Vanguard 1 satellite; Skylab’s Earth Resource Experiment Package; the recovery of a Mercury capsule; NASA Astronaut Group 2; Gemini 4 astronauts Jim McDivitt and Ed White; the launch of the Mercury-Atlas 9; the launches of the AS-201 and AS-202 uncrewed test flights; and concept artwork of NASA’s six manned space programs. In overall very good to fine condition, with wear to edges, such as staple holes and creases, and punch holes to lower border of the NASA Astronaut Group 2 photo.
