Sculptor (1885-1966) best known for the Prometheus fountain located in Rockefeller Center. ALS, three pages on two sheets, 5.75 x 9, Newport House and Cottages letterhead, no date. Letter to Mrs. Abbott about his artwork, in part: "I presumed that the little group would be too small for a large garden—set in among big trees—but as you suggest, with a fountain motif of which it would be the center it would probably make a more appropriate spot. Isabel and myself are here for a few days to arrange a little exhibition of my things which, I confess, is somewhat against my desire as they have been shown so often." In fine condition, with some light edge creasing.
