Harry Chapin's Criteria Recording Studios session log book binder from 1980, 11 x 11.25, containing the engineer's notes, performer and track information, and lyrics for some of his last recording sessions, which resulted in songs such as 'Sequel,' 'Story of a Life,' 'I've Finally Found It, Sandy,' 'Old Salt and Pepper,' 'I Miss America,' 'Remember When the Music,' and others. The binder represents the full recording session for Harry's 9th studio album Sequel, will all 10 songs of the album included; the contents are separated by tabbed dividers into sections dedicated to each song. In fine condition, with the three-ring mechanism detached from the binder. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Sandy Chapin, the widow of Harry Chapin, noting that this was the "only recording session where Harry had compiled such a detailed collection of notes." Sequel was the last full album released during Chapin's lifetime.
