Archive of items associated with the infamous Bay of Pigs invasion in 1961, including: two sought-after counterfeit "Banco Nacional de Cuba" 20 peso banknotes as issued by the CIA to the Cuban exiles participating in the failed invasion; a softcover Spanish-language book entitled "Playa Giron: Derrota Del Imperialismo [Giron Beach Defeat Of Imperialism]," comprising mimeographed sheets of magazine articles, radio addresses, and speeches of Fidel Castro, Raul Castro, and Che Guevara, among others; a blue banner, 9 x 13, honoring the "Brigada 'Victoria de Giron'"; and several Cuba postage stamps. In very good to fine condition, with heavy wear to the book.
