Scarce partly-printed invitation for the erection of the National American Indian Memorial at Fort Wadsworth in New York Harbor on February 22, 1913, one page, 9 x 12.75, presented by the National American Indian Memorial and issued to Dr. Julius F. Sachse "to participate with The President of the United States, Members of the Cabinet, and other distinguished guests." Upper portion of invitation bears an affixed printed image of a Joseph K. Dixon photogravure entitled "The Last Outpost." The invitation is mounted to a slightly larger sheet. In very good to fine condition, with light soiling and light show-through along the edges due to mounting.
