Hib-Tone Records 45 RPM record for the R.E.M. single ‘Radio Free Europe / Sitting Still,’ signed and inscribed on the back cover in black ballpoint, “To James, I hope this was worth it! Mike Mills” and “Michael,” and on the front cover, “To James, Hello again, Pete Buck,” who adds a smiley face sketch, with an unknown hand adding a series of ‘Quacks’ along the bottom. The back cover is ostensibly also signed by the band’s manager Jefferson Holt, who writes: “Dear James AKA ‘ Mr. City Wide,’ Guilt like fear is given to us for survival not destruction,’ L Jefferson.” In very good condition, with overall creasing. The record is included. A very desirable set of early R.E.M. signatures on the band's debut single, which received critical acclaim and led to a record deal with I.R.S. Records.
