Partly-printed DS in French, signed “Murat,” one page, 13.25 x 9.25, November 3, 1804. Official military leave document, in part (translated): "We, the undersigned, members of the board of directors of…Regiment d'Infanterie Legere, certify that we have given reform leave to citizen Francois Ferret, said chasseur." Signed at the conclusion by Murat as Marshal of the Empire and Military Governor of Paris. Double-matted and framed to an overall size of 19.5 x 15.25. In very good condition, with splitting along the heavy intersecting folds, creasing, and soiling touching the signature.
