Description

American architect (1906-2005) who is best known for his works of modern architecture, including the Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut, and his works of postmodern architecture; in 1978, he was awarded an American Institute of Architects Gold Medal, and in 1979, the first Pritzker Architecture Prize. Satin-finish 8 x 10 photo of Philip Johnson, signed in black felt tip. In fine condition, with a light vertical bend touching the top of Johnson's head.
