ALS in French, signed “L. Pasteur,” one page, 5 x 5, July 25, 1886. Written from Paris, a letter to Narboux, in full (translated): "Permit me to recommend to you the young Landrin, who will undergo his bachelor of sciences examination before you and Messieurs Ribau and Lacaze-Duthion on the 28th (written) and 29th (oral). I have taken an interest in the young man, the son of Mr. A. Landrin, the administrator of the Palais du Trocadéro, who also organized the benefit for the Pasteur Institute on 11 May. It would be most kind of you to say a word about my recommendation to Mr. Ribau and your colleague Lacaze." Double-matted and framed to an overall size of 10 x 10. In fine condition.
