Partly-printed DS, signed “P. Henry,” one page, 12.5 x 16.5, June 1, 1782. As governor of Virginia, Henry grants "John White, assignee of John Stradler, a certain Tract or parcel of Land, containing Two Hundred and Thirty nine acres…being in the county of Monongalia." Neatly signed at the conclusion by Governor Henry. The white paper seal affixed to the lower left corner is intact. Matted and framed with an engraved portrait (bearing a facsimile signature) to an overall size of 25.5 x 22.75. In very good condition, with multiple intersecting folds, a few stains, and repairs to small areas of paper loss. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from JSA.
