Original vintage glossy 8 x 8.5 silver gelatin wirephoto of Kennedy standing before his massive birthday cake in advance of the famed birthday salute held at Madison Square Garden on May 19, 1962. Reverse bears an AP Wirephoto stamp and affixed newspaper clipping, stamp-dated May 20, 1962. In very good to fine condition, with trimmed edges, light creases, and substantial editorial touch-ups, including outlining of facial features and of the chef. Kennedy was presented with the massive cake at the end of Marilyn Monroe's infamous performance of 'Happy Birthday, Mr. President.'
