(Walt Disney Studios, 1937) Original concept sketch by Frank Follmer of the exterior of Snow White's cottage from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, accomplished in graphite on an off-white 12 x 9 sheet, which is signed in the lower border, “F. Follmer.” The detailed drawing shows the outside of the cottage as a mother deer and her fawn walk across the front footpath. Matted to an overall size of 14 x 11. In fine condition. Follmer worked at Walt Disney Studios from the late 1930s through the early 1940s, assisting on projects like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, and Fantasia. He alienated Walt Disney when he organized a strike against the studio, and ultimately left to join the Navy.
