Limited edition color 25 x 20.5 lithograph of a Carl Barks oil painting entitled 'July Fourth in Duckburg,' numbered 229/350, printed in 11 colors on Opalesque Keramique by The Black Box of Chicago, signed in the lower border in pencil by Barks. Created in tribute to the Nation's Bicentennial, this hugely festive scene features Donald Duck, Uncle Scrooge, the Junior Woodchucks, and the entire panoply of Barks' Disney characters during a celebratory downtown parade. In appreciation of his supporters, Barks also painted into the scene numerous real-world people who were active in the Barks market at the time: Don Ault, Mike Barrier, E. Barbara Boatner, Glenn Bray, Russ and Vance Cochran, Tony Dispoto, Bruce Hamilton, Jerry Osborne, Bob Overstreet, Don Phelps, Bud Plant, and Burrel Rowe.
