TLS signed “Stan,” one page, 6 x 9, personal letterhead, December 28, 1963. Letter to Mike Polacek, in part: "Thanks for your, 25th inst. with snapshot of yourself holding a S.L. Bank—you seem so pleased it must already be full!! Needless to tell you the L&H record by Harmon is terrible—you should punch that kid in the nose for giving it to you—can you imagine—spoiling your whole Xmas!!…I listened to one side then gave it away—that guy played the 2nd side & committed suicide!! There is another one a '45—the L&H 'Cuckoo Theme'—that too is lousey!" In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope and an unsigned vintage glossy 10 x 8 still from When Comedy Was King, annotated on the reverse by Jim Maloy: "This photo was Stan Laurel's, he gave it to Mike Polacek & then in turn to me."
