Brilliant limited edition color 21.5 x 30 print of a painting by Grace Slick entitled 'Sacrifice to Morpheus,' numbered 273/300, which depicts Doors frontman Jim Morrison against a dark background with concentric halos of light, signed in the lower border in pencil by Slick. Attractively matted and framed to an overall size of 36.5 x 45.25. In fine condition. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
According to Slick: 'Sometimes in his gray black fog, Jim still seemed comfortable with the eerie surroundings that accompany extreme experimentation. Morphine may or may not blow out a sense of proportion, but Jim was more than willing to be his own lab rat and record the process as it was happening. Like mirrors, we were able to watch the researchers as they used themselves up.'
