ALS, one page, 8.5 x 11, personal letterhead, February 16, 1965. Letter to director George Cukor, wanting to meet Ava Gardner. In full: "Once again I am asking you to be good enough to transmit the enclosed to Ava Gardner. It was very thoughtful of you to send me that telegram. Let's hope that the next time will be the time." In fine condition, with some very light creasing to the right edge. Accompanied by Cukor's typed "nightletter," advising Miller that Gardner is in town; and a letter from Gardner's assistant Ed Schaefer to Cukor's assistant Irene Burns in 1964, advising that Gardner had returned to Madrid.
