Very attractive original painting of George Harrison by acclaimed artist Trevor Carlton, accomplished in acrylic on eight slats of distressed wood measuring 15 x 44.5, signed on the bottom slat in black paint, “Carlton," with the reverse also signed, “Monte Trevor Carlton, 2006.” In fine condition.
Actor turned painter, Monte Trevor Carlton paid the bills by working in a custom furniture store that specialized in antiquing and faux finish designs. It was here that his style was born. Using reclaimed lumber as his ‘canvas,’ Carlton began painting images of vintage Americana with subjects ranging from pop icon celebrity to the heyday of jazz.
