Original vintage circa 1963 glossy 10 x 8 silver gelatin photo of Cassius Clay prior to his first heavyweight bout with Henry Cooper at Wembley Stadium. Reverse bears an affixed caption, noting: "Clay, well-known for his boastings, claims he will finish the fight (in his own favour) in the fifth round. He would be proven correct: the fight, held on June 18, 1963, was stopped by the referee two minutes into the fifth round, and Clay was declared the winner." In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing. Encapsulated by PSA as an authentic 'Type I' photograph.
