Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Pennsylvania (1730-1779). Manuscript document with an autograph endorsement signed "Geo: Ross, Att'y Deft.," one page, 7.5 x 12.5, February 1755. Legal document concerning a financial dispute between George Reazor and William Bowsman, endorsed at the conclusion by Ross: "I appear for the above Def't & Confess Judg't to Wm. Bowsman the Pltiff for the sum of Fourty five pounds sixteen shillings & four pence Lawfull money." In very good to fine condition, with some light toning, and a repair to separation along the central horizontal fold.
