ALS signed “Patsy,” five pages three sheets, 5.75 x 8, September 23, 1956. Letter to fan club president Treva Miller, in part: "Well I've never been soo thrilled in my life as I was when I opened up the mail and found my own journal, and to see what a wonderful job you all have done. I think it is just wonderfull. The pictures are good and the write ups are fine. I didn't realize there was enough news me to make a book as you all have done. Treva I think you have done wonderfull, and my thanks to you & Bruce can never be enough…That was very good on Jimmy Dean. I'm sure he will be tickled pink. I'll see if I can't get you a story and pictures of the whole Town & Country Time Jamboree to put in the next one and you can tie it in with me working there with them. Don't say anything about this, but I got a letter from a friend of mine at W.M.A.L. television station who has recommended me to the 'Laurence Welk' show for a new show starting Oct. 1st called 'New Faces & Hit Tunes.' He sent them a letter telling them about me and, then they wrote him back asking for a history on me and my records, and pictures, and said it would be T.V. network coast to coast. They would pay me for an appearance…I just hope and pray that it comes back saying I can come out, and there is a chance for a regular job on his show. Treva, I don't think I could do a show if I would get the chance, because I'd be soo excited I couldn't do anything. Keep your fingers crossed for me: I really need the money now because last Thursday I bought a new 56 Oldsmobile 88. I'm soo tickled with it I'm like a kid with a new toy." In fine condition, with slight adhesive residue to edges. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope addressed in Cline's hand, incorporating her full signature in the return address area. Accompanied by full letters of authenticity from PSA/DNA for the letter and the envelope.
