Nixon names Sammy Davis, Jr. to the National Advisory Council on Economic Opportunity

Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 18.25 x 15.25, July 1, 1971. President Nixon appoints Sammy Davis, Jr. as "a Member of the National Advisory Council on Economic Opportunity for the remainder of the term expiring September 22, 1972." Boldly signed at the conclusion in black ink by President Nixon, "Richard Nixon, July 1, 1971," and countersigned by Secretary of State William P. Rogers. Double-matted and framed to an overall size of 27 x 24. In fine condition. Accompanied by a concert poster for Sammy Davis, Jr. at the Paramount Northwest on October31-November 1, 1974, framed to an overall size of 13.25 x 21.25.
