Ballpoint signature and inscription, "Thank you Eric, Charlie Chaplin,” on an off-white 8.75 x 8 sheet of music written in pencil by his musical collaborator, Eric James, entitled "1000 Windows Smile at Me." In very good to fine condition, with light creasing, a tear to the right edge, and old adhesive residue on the reverse. James was associated with Chaplin for more than twenty years, collaborating in the development of compositions and subsequent orchestral arrangements that became celebrated film scores.
