Rare handwritten autobiography by INXS lead singer Michael Hutchence, unsigned, no date, penned in ballpoint on five 8 x 10 pages. Hutchence writes about his family and his upbringing, noting his move from Brisbane to Hong Kong and then back to Sydney, his earliest musical endeavors, and his first meeting with Andrew Farriss. In part: “Moved to Sydney again when I was 13—my first day at h-school was shock shock!! Got cornered by the heavies and along comes Andrew Farriss and large friend to stop me from putting shit on everyone in my HK accent and stop the bashing too! Quite a funny meeting that turned into a long friendship. Andrew and I being the sensitive souls we were started making music our prime motive in life and eventually with the help of others recorded a lot of experimental music in garages and living rooms etc.” In fine condition.
