Our first Nijinsky in nine years

Polish ballet dancer and choreographer (1889-1950) who is cited as the greatest male dancer of the early 20th century. Beautiful soft leather autograph book, 5 x 7.75, signed inside in fountain pen, "Waslaw Fomitch Nijinsky, 1911." The autograph book, which belonged to the French violinist Jeanne Isnard, contains signatures from several French notables of the arts and sciences, including: Gabriel Fauré (AMQS), Camille Flammarion, Maurice Renaud, Jean Aicard, Béatrix Dussane, Frédéric Montenard (sketch), Lucien Capet (AMQS), Henri Deutsch de la Meurthe, Feodor Chaliapin, Paul Vidal (AMQS), Marcelle Demougeot, Fernand Francell, and Ferdinand Gabin. In fine condition.
