ALS signed “Harry,” one page, 8.5 x 11, illustrated Blackstone letterhead, postmarked August 4, 1948. Letter to Elmer Eckam in Rochester, in full: "Where in hell are those umbrellas—I want to use them this season—Need them by August 20—as we open in Canada Aug 24—So RUSH THEM." In very good to fine condition, with irregular toning to the top, and haloing to the ink from onetime exposure to moisture. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
