Letter to Mrs. Sarah Smith, in part: "I am desirous to get Army sketches of every kind. Regret that our poverty prevents from paying more than $2 a printed page for them. Have directed magazine to be sent to you." In fine condition. From 1866 to 1869, Hill edited the Southern magazine The Land We Love.
