Double-matted and framed with a portrait of Twain to an overall size of 23.25 x 14.5. In fine condition. In a letter to publisher Charles Webster written two months earlier, Clemens noted that his busy schedule consisted of no fewer than six concurrent writing and publishing projects, which included finishing his third novel A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court.
