I am touched and pleased by all that you say. Please tell your wife and the Members of 615 Squadron how much your sympathy means to me at this time." Churchill adds the salutation in her own hand. In fine condition. Her husband of 56 years, Sir Winston Churchill, passed away 22 days prior.
