TLS, one page, 6 x 8, 1224 Chautauqua Boulevard letterhead, August 3, 1975. Letter to Stephen Admanson, in full: "I am very sorry I can't supply you with a photograph. My supply has long been given away. However, many fans get photos at a supply house and send them with a return cover and postage and that's the way it's done these days. I don't know the name of the any supply house, but an 'ardent fan' should be able to find out. I loved your humor about your quote from the dialogue of 'Dracula' of which, you well know the actors have no control over. Yes, Helen Chandler was a very special lady. I felt very unhappy about her life and the way it ended. Will the signature of this letter be sufficient for your collection." Manners adds a handwritten postscript: "One of your stamps is enclosed. Thank you." In fine condition. From the collection of Stephen Adamson.
