Rare silver medal presented to Omega SA by the Olympic Organizing Committee for their contributions at the Mexico City 1968 Summer Olympics, 69 gm, 51 mm in diameter, with the front depicting a Mesoamerican athlete, and the reverse featuring the Mexico City logo and engraved text: “Grateful appreciation to Omega for excellence in time-keeping at the Games, The Organizing Committee"; the medal features an ouroboros wrapping the rim on both sides. The medal is accompanied by a French-language 42-page booklet entitled, “Omega: 50 Ans de Chronometrage Olympique” [50 Years of Olympic Timing], published in 1982.
