Attractive silver bowl, 6″ x 6″ x 1″, 184 grams, with bowl section bearing engraved Olympic rings and the signature of IOC President Juan Antonio Samaranch above an inscription, “To Mr. Wolf Lyberg, with sincere thanks of the IOC, Lausanne, 11th December 1987.” The underside of the bowl features an 800 hallmark and “Jezler” maker’s mark, and is numbered below, “34—134.” In very good to fine condition, with light overall scuffing and some traces of discoloration. Originates from the collection of Swedish journalist Wolf Lyberg (1917-2012), who served as the General Secretary of the Swedish Olympic Committee.
