Attractive ink signatures, "Andrew Jackson," as president, and "M. Van Buren," as Secretary of War, penned at the conclusion of a clipped 10.25 x 5 vellum document dated January 19, 1830, with left side no longer bearing affixed War Department seal. The document is also signed by David Henshaw as Collector for the District of Boston and Charleston; he later served as U.S. Secretary of the Navy under John Tyler. In very good to fine condition, with light toning and soiling.
