Pilot John Young took this photo using a modified 70mm Hasselblad camera over Madagascar during the Gemini 3 three-orbit mission on March 23, 1965. The altitude of the ‘Molly Brown’ spacecraft was 100 miles above Earth. The photo, identified as "S-65-18753," features purple NASA caption text and "A Kodak Paper" watermarks to reverse. In fine condition, with a ballpoint notation to reverse, “GT-3.” Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA authentication holder.
