ALS in Russian, written by cosmonaut Andrei Borisenko while on the International Space Station as part of ISS Expedition 28, one page, 8.25 x 11.75, May 29, 2011. The untranslated letter is written to fellow cosmonaut Gennady Padalka, who holds the world record for the most time spent in space, and was returned to Earth aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour during STS-134. In fine condition. Accompanied by the original hand-addressed mailing envelope.
Aleksandr Samokutyayev and Andrei Borisenko sent 26 letters to Earth with STS-134: eight to Russia, eleven to Germany, three to Austria, two to China and Switzerland, and one to Belgium. These letters were confiscated in the Houston Astronaut Office. In February 2012, they were released and then posted as registered mail.
