Description

Uncommon ALS, one page, 7.25 x 4.75, March 6, 1835. Written from Washington, a letter to a friend, in full: "I have this day yours of the 2d. I also received the Intelligencer & a number of the Recorder. I infer from this, that the copies sent to the Postmaster of the House, have been duly distributed. I honor you for your courage & perseverance. Keep calm;—take good advice; & trust the price to Heaven." In fine condition, with a faint stain to the lower left.
